Seven Houses, Nine Decades: The Life of Paola

A narrative of the life of Paola, born in Florence in 1938, traced through the seven houses she inhabited across as many urban and peri-urban neighborhoods between Florence and Scandicci.

Set against changing facades and historical urban contexts, the work follows a chronological journey in seven stages. It seeks to offer a personal and contemporary interpretation of the protagonist's existential path over the course of nine decades.
