PALAZZO COPPINI
Florence, Italy, 2019.
Palazzo Coppini is a building located in Florence in the heart of its historical city centre, declared in 1982 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Palazzo Coppini is located in via del Giglio 10, in the triangle made by the Cappelle Medicee and the San Lorenzo Basilica, the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral and Santa Maria Novella Basilica.
The building hosts the collections of the Museum Fondazione Del Bianco. The Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco®- Life Beyond Tourism® research and study centre is dedicated to the themes of travel, heritage and dialogue among cultures.
In 2013 the the building was completely restored and changed its function being converted into a place for encounters, a place that could become the home of the foundation and became the Museum Fondazione Del Bianco, displaying the collections of gifts personally donated from the friends of the organization.
The photographs were taken in occasion of the research work Erasmus+ UNINET as Palazzo Coppini was selected as best practice of architectural heritage conservation.
